Welcome to Rowhouse Plants. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rowhouse Plants website and your purchase of products from Rowhouse Plants (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website, placing an order, or purchasing from Rowhouse Plants, you agree to these Terms.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website and placing an order, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

You may not use our products, website, or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. You may not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of this website.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, payment issues, or violations of these Terms.

2. Products and Availability

Rowhouse Plants specializes in live plants and related products. Because plants are living organisms, each plant is unique. Natural variation in size, shape, coloration, variegation, leaf count, growth pattern, and other characteristics should be expected.

We make reasonable efforts to accurately photograph and describe our products. However, colors and appearance may vary depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, plant maturity, and natural variation.

Unless a listing specifically states that the exact plant pictured will be received, product photographs may be representative of the plant offered.

Minor cosmetic imperfections, including small blemishes, leaf damage, discoloration, or other normal signs of growth, do not necessarily indicate an unhealthy plant.

All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue products, or update product information at any time.

3. Plant Size and Growth

Plant measurements, pot sizes, leaf counts, and other descriptions are provided as accurately as reasonably possible but should be considered approximate unless otherwise stated.

Plants may continue to grow or change between the time they are photographed and the time they are purchased or shipped. Older leaves may naturally yellow or decline, while new leaves and roots may develop.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice.

Applicable sales tax, shipping charges, and other fees will be calculated and displayed during checkout when applicable.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, product information, or other errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we may contact you to provide the option to proceed under the corrected terms or cancel the affected item or order.

Payment must be successfully processed before an order is fulfilled.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or limit an order when reasonably necessary.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, contact, delivery, and shipping information.

Please review your information carefully before submitting an order. Rowhouse Plants is not responsible for delivery problems resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.

6. Shipping

Shipping live plants involves risks that do not apply to ordinary merchandise. Plants may experience temporary stress during transit, including minor wilting, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, or discoloration.

Shipping schedules may be adjusted because of weather, carrier conditions, holidays, or other circumstances that could affect plant safety.

We may delay shipment when we reasonably believe weather conditions could jeopardize the health of the plant.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and retrieving delivered packages promptly.

Additional requirements and protections applicable to shipped plants are described in our Shipping Policy and Live Arrival Guarantee, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible shipped plants may be covered by the Rowhouse Plants Live Arrival Guarantee according to the conditions stated in the applicable Shipping Policy or Live Arrival Guarantee in effect when the order is placed.

Customers must comply with all claim requirements and deadlines specified in that policy, including providing photographs and contacting Rowhouse Plants within the required period.

Normal shipping stress, minor cosmetic damage, customer care after delivery, incorrect addresses, failure to retrieve a package promptly, or other exclusions identified in the applicable policy may not qualify for coverage.

8. Local Pickup

Orders designated for local pickup must be collected according to the pickup instructions provided by Rowhouse Plants.

Customers are responsible for arriving within the agreed pickup window or communicating promptly if they cannot do so.

Plants not collected within the applicable pickup period may be subject to cancellation, forfeiture of deposits or payments where permitted by the applicable policy and law, or other terms stated in our Local Pickup Policy.

For privacy and security, pickup details may be provided directly to customers after purchase rather than publicly displayed on the website.

9. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Because live plants are perishable goods, all live plant sales are final, except where otherwise required by law or expressly covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee.

We do not accept returns or exchanges of live plants based on change of mind, buyer preference, natural plant variation, or conditions that develop after the plant has entered the customer's care.

Any refund, replacement, store credit, or other remedy for a qualifying shipping issue will be handled according to our Refund Policy and Live Arrival Guarantee.

Non-plant merchandise, if offered, may be subject to different return terms as stated in the applicable product listing or Refund Policy.

10. Plant Care After Purchase

Once a plant has been delivered or transferred to the customer, the customer is responsible for providing appropriate care and growing conditions.

Care information provided by Rowhouse Plants is intended as general guidance. Growing conditions vary significantly between homes and environments, and we cannot guarantee a plant's continued health or growth after it enters the customer's care.

Rowhouse Plants is not responsible for plant decline resulting from factors including, but not limited to, watering, lighting, humidity, temperature, substrate, repotting, fertilization, pests acquired after delivery, environmental changes, or other care conditions outside our control.

11. Pests and Plant Health

We take reasonable measures to inspect and maintain the health of plants offered for sale. However, no seller of live plants can guarantee that a plant or growing medium will remain completely free of insects, microorganisms, or other naturally occurring organisms.

Customers are encouraged to inspect new plants upon arrival and follow appropriate quarantine practices before introducing them to an established collection.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all original content appearing on the Rowhouse Plants website—including photographs, graphics, illustrations, logos, branding, written content, product descriptions, blog content, and other materials—is owned by or licensed to Rowhouse Plants and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Rowhouse Plants.

13. Third-Party Services

Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, social media platforms, and other service providers.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Rowhouse Plants is not responsible for the content, availability, practices, or performance of third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
